About
Hi, I'm Anne-Sophie.
I grew up in the French Alps and spent many years traveling the world before settling in New York over 16 years ago. Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years working as an educator, executive functioning coach, and holistic wellness practitioner. I've also facilitated women's circles, creating spaces where people could come together to reflect, heal, and support one another. These experiences continue to shape the way I work today.
I am currently completing my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University. I believe that every person has a unique story shaped by their childhood, relationships, culture, and life experiences. My work is rooted in the belief that healing involves the whole person. Along with exploring your thoughts and emotions, I help clients notice how stress, grief, and life experiences are held, creating opportunities for greater awareness, self-compassion, and lasting change.
How I Work
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. I don't believe therapy is about fixing you. I believe it's about creating a safe space where you can explore your experiences without judgment, understand the patterns that have shaped your life, and reconnect with your strengths and freedom of decision.
Together, we'll slow down and become curious about your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and the stories you've carried for years. We'll also pay attention to how your body responds to change, helping you develop a deeper understanding of yourself as a whole person.
What I Treat
I enjoy working with adults navigating grief and loss, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and identity shifts. I also work with neurodivergent individuals who are seeking greater self-understanding, emotional regulation, self-acceptance, and practical ways to thrive in a world that isn't always designed for the way they experience it.
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or uncertain about their next chapter. Together, we create space to better understand those experiences, build resilience, and move toward a life that feels more meaningful and aligned with their values.
How to Decide If I Am the Right Therapist for You
I may be a good fit for you if you're carrying grief, living with anxiety, processing trauma, navigating a major life transition, or feeling a sense of emptiness that you can't quite explain. You don't need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. You simply need a willingness to begin.
Every person has the capacity to heal. My role isn't to tell you who to become but to walk alongside you as you make sense of your experiences, reconnect with yourself, and create a life that feels more meaningful and authentic. Healing doesn't happen all at once, but through small moments of insight and connection that gradually transform the way we relate to ourselves and the world around us.
