My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and creative. I believe that we all carry stories, some inherited, some self-constructed, and some still unfolding, and that therapy can be a powerful space to explore and reshape the narratives that influence our lives.
I work from a psychodynamic and person-centered lens, integrating elements of Gestalt therapy and mindfulness. I’m especially drawn to working with people who feel stuck in painful patterns around food and body image, who carry a persistent sense of sadness or shame, or who have experienced emotional neglect or inconsistent caregiving.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over 15 years as a documentary video editor. That work taught me how to sit with complexity, listen for what’s unspoken, and find the thread of meaning within a story. My creative background continues to inform my clinical work, deepening my respect for emotional nuance, non-linear healing, and the many ways we come to understand ourselves.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Alfred University and am honored to accompany clients in the courageous, vulnerable work of therapy.
